Journaling Prompts

Journaling can be a simple, supportive way to come home to yourself. It offers a place to release what you’re carrying, to reflect on your inner world, and to notice how you’re changing over time. On the page, thoughts can soften, emotions can move, and clarity often finds its own way in. Journaling invites mindfulness, not by asking you to fix or figure anything out, but by helping you stay present with what is already here.

Sometimes having a prompt nearby can make that process feel easier. Prompts aren’t meant to lead you anywhere specific; they’re simply an invitation to begin. They offer a gentle focus when the mind feels busy or the page feels blank, encouraging curiosity, honesty, and compassion as you write.

In 2025, I shared daily journaling prompts as a way to support a consistent rhythm of reflection. Those prompts will remain here on the site for anyone who enjoys daily journaling, wants a moment of inspiration, or prefers to choose a prompt intuitively rather than follow a set sequence.

In 2026, I’m shifting into a slower, more spacious rhythm with weekly journaling prompts. Each week offers a single prompt, loosely aligned with the phases of the Moon, as a way to support awareness and observation. Rather than writing every day, this practice invites you to carry one question with you through the week. Notice how it shows up in your body, your emotions, your thoughts, and your everyday experiences.

These weekly prompts are not meant to explain your experience or tell you what it means. They are simply an invitation to notice, to listen, and to allow understanding to unfold in its own time. You may write once, return to the prompt throughout the week, or simply hold it gently in awareness as you move through your days.

If this softer, more intuitive approach feels supportive, you’re welcome to follow along in 2026. And if daily journaling continues to serve you, the 2025 prompts are here whenever you need them. There’s no right pace, no right way, only what feels most nourishing for you in this season.
